About Me

I am a curious and mildly sarcastic person who's got his food and drink pairing sorted out (what more do you need, right?). I originally grew up in a quaint riverside neighborhood in Southern India before moving to the northern part for my school and finally to the United States for higher studies. I moved to the Midwest where the four seasons captivate your imagination as there's more to it than corn fields and expressways. I currently live in Columbus (Ohio), a city that has opened me up to many possibilities and novel experiences.

Though I have specific tastes in the aesthetics of life, I love to explore the unexplored and know the unknown. Thanks to a quarter-life realization of my desire to unhinge my socially curious disposition beyond the four walls of my work station, I'll be traveling a lot more than I have to meet people, talk culture and rock music, grab a snazzy drink and eat local food.

Also, a DC person and will always pick sweet over savory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every one of us has a story that can be told. And every story has a punchline. Eventually, it's these punchlines that amplify our human experience.

I am in my elements when I meet new people and learn about their experiences and wisdom while I share what very little I have. Couch surfing is an ideal way for me to travel and gather those peals of experience. I also appreciate light hearted and honest conversations more than staying glued to electronics to figure out the next place to eat/see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Here's three:
- Climbed the Story Bridge in Brisbane, which happens to be one of the three guided bridge climbs in the world
- Winged a trip from Houston, TX to New York that lasted two days each way and saw me taste all sorts of food/drink and camp out
- Won a taco eating competition (that shows where my priorities lie)
