Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's such a better way to travel ! You discover places like you would never have staying in a regular hotel, and you discover people you would never have met if it wasn't for couchsurfing :)

It's also a wonderfull way to travel while staying at home : listening to the stories of people you're hosting, sharing a meal with them, talking about the cultural differences between your countries...

What I really love is coushsurf at someone's we hosted first. We haven't done it the other way around yet (hosting someone who hosted us first), but we sure hope it will happen soon !

Interests

I love sports : running, hiking, currently trying to get better at rollerskating
We both love boardgames and would be happy to share a game with you if you like it as well. If you know how to play Go (also called Baduk), I shall be delighted to play you! I'm about 10k.
I practiced music a bit when I was in France but not that much since I'm here...
I love to read children literacy and have quite a collection of it back home (I have to admit that it may be a bit of a professional tic though).

My all times favourite : Star Wars (all of them for different reasons), Lord of the Rings, most of the Disney movies (I'm one of those who didn't really like Frozen though)

My favourites series : Scrubs, ER, Battlestar Gallactica, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey.

I mostly listen rock, pop, pop-rock, indie rock, I really enjoy folk/country music but I know nothing about it...
And I'm in love with French language so I can't resist a well written French song (on the other hand you're sure to make me cry if you play a poor written one).

I'm a big fan of books, manga and comics. Can't make a list there...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling with friends, meet friends in travels.

Life is also quite an amazing adventure itself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach : I'm a teacher so, apparently I like to teach. I'd be happy to share anything I can :)
Learn : everything I can.
Share : Stories, of course! And boardgames: as previously said, we're big fans.

Food !
Wether I'm hosting or being host, we usually love to have a meal with people. Cooking is sharing :)
