As you can see, my name is Manon and I am a 20 year old girl (or do I have to call myself a woman now?) from a small town in The Netherlands.
After I finished my study I didn't know what to do so I got myself a job and started saving up so I could travel. I love to meet different people and really getting to know the country that i'm in.

I am a absolute animal lover so I will give your pets loads of love (well, not if you have a snake... or a turantula).
I also don't smoke!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Going to a new country is good but I have learned that meeting new people in the countries, is what makes the experience great.

I have lived in Malta for five months in 2015, have seen 21 percent of Europe and a staggering 1 percent of the world, which means I seriously need to up my traveling game. Yeah, I'm working on it...

I love almost all music styles, as long as a song has a story or a good beat, I'm happy.

I have to be honest and say that I don't watch a lot of movies, but I have seen Game of Thrones...

I do read a lot of books and I mean a LOT, but I don't really read the most known books. I just enjoy reading books with some action or loads of humor and whit (and maybe a bit of romance).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in a country that I had never been before was pretty amazing for me.

I would looooove to learn Spanish, the language is so beautiful to me but I can't speak it and only understand tiny bits.
