I enjoy meeting new people, foreigners especially around a good meal. Indeed I love cooking for others and sharing. After travelling in several families in the US, Australia, Germany, and the UK I know that it is so much better to stay in a house where you can feel at home instead of a cold or too fancy hotel room.
