I am Manon, a French and English student doing a phD in Paris. I study plant biophysics, and I am so happy to do so : I find plants fascinating.
I am easy going, and I LOVE to laugh! I enjoy debating about pretty much anything, I love getting to know other people's points of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people! I am hitchhiking to Sweden this summer, and I'd love to meet new people on the way there !

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music : It's very difficult to choose, I have very eclectic tastes. I will name a few of my favourites : Florence and the Machine, Perfume Genius, Lana del Rey, Gaël Faye, Jabberwocky, Leonard Cohen, Rise against, the Lumineers, the Civil wars, Sia, Khalid, Cigarettes after sex, the XX, alt-J, stand high patrol, rakoon, fakear, and many many more !
Basically anything that makes me feel, that gives me shivers !

Favourite movie : Harold and Maude. Maude is my role model.

Favourite book : I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading, so it's kind of tough to choose just one book.
I loved "the color purple", and "the pillars of the earth". At the moment, I am reading "20000 lieues sous les mers". I also love poetry (do you know Mary Oliver? If you don't you should definitely look her up !) and philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swim in a lake in Sweden while it was snowing. It was FREEZING but worth it !!
