About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a 22 years old French girl who lived in the US for a year and who's now been living in Canada for 3 years. I study Psychology & Spanish in university. I am a synchronized ice skater, a cheerleader and a dancer. I love kids a lot: I have been a babysitter for really long and I've even been an Au Pair in Spain for 3 months. I am really sociable and love to make new friends. I am pretty outgoing but I enjoy some calm when necessary. I've been travelling with my family since I was born and on my own since I was 15. I looooooove discovering new cultures and to me the best way to do so is by living in a country or by discovering it with locals!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe there is no better way to discover a country and a culture than to live in the country for some time or by discovering it with locals! I have had the chance to do so multiple time through friends and other platforms but I have heard that the best people to do so are on CouchSurfing so I am giving it a try. I am only looking to be hosted for now as I do not have a permanent home but I am just as excited to host people when I have my own place as I am now to be a guest in someone's home and get to discover life through their eyes.
Interests
I love to ice skate, practice cheerleading, dance, hike, read, travel, party, shop, ski, meet people, take pictures, eat, laugh and make long lasting memories! I have traveled to many country and I am planning on traveling to many more. I love to do volunteering because I love to help people out and to see that it really counts for them. I am very passionate about education and especially special education as I am studying to be a Special Education teacher!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love mostly all kind of musics as long as it has a good beat and/or meaningful lyrics to me!
I LOVE to read, mostly biographies, books about spirituality, the world around use, mindfulness, cultures and anything related to special education and children with disabilities but I also love a good fiction book as long as it isn't too cheesy or too fantasist.
I enjoy watching movies at night but I don't get to go to the movies as often as I would like. Again, I pretty much like anything, but I am not a big fan of thrillers or fantasy movies with a few exceptions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived abroad for 10 months without my family when I was 17 and I left everything behind again 3 years again at 19 to go study in Canada where I still live today...
Also, I jumped from a 10 meters tall cliff into the water even though I was afraid of heights!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am in the process of getting myTEFL teaching certification and my the french equivalent of it so you might have guessed that I love to teach languages and having studied Spanish for many years, I also hope to get my certification to teach Spanish someday. I not only love to teach but also to learn new languages and I have come to learn that it is much easier when you learn from native speaker and especially when you have the chance to converse in the languages with them!
I would also enjoy learning a new sport or showing you the ropes of the ones I am a lot more familiar with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of French, Spanish and/or English, the experience of the different cultures I have experienced in the past, some delicious French, Spanish, Italian and Canadian dishes which I love to make and just the opportunity to talk and share ideas about pretty much any subject you are willing to discuss with me!
