About Me

Hi everyone!
I'm Manon, Singer/musician/traveler/teacher/learner/life enjoyer!
I was born in France, where I studied International Relationships. I moved to Mexico for a exchange in 2009 and fell in love with Latin America!
I became a spanish teacher in the suburbs of Paris, but I was feeling very sad in my sedentary life, so in 2016 I decided to drop everything and left to Mexico with my backback, my smile and my hopes!
I've been travelling on my own ever since, and I'd say I've found myself back ... thanks to MUSIC!
Travelling allowed me to realized that my life dream was to sing, since I was a kid. I had the chance to meet a few angels on my journey who tought me and accompagnied me on this new path. I managed to travel from Costa Rica to Brasil during 2 years, only by sharing my music,in the streets, the restaurants, the schools, the concert places... and now I can't stop :) Travelling has changed me and helped me grow so much! The places, the cultures, the people, the magical encounters and sinchronicities... I'm so greatfull for everything I have been able to live and experiment, and everything yet to come! Trying everyday to give back!
2020 will be the year for BRASIL! Vamos lá que tudo vai acontecer!
Looking forward to meet you ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The couchsurfing community is a wonderfull way to get to know places for real, by knowing the people who live there , get to know their culture and share real moments with them. It's such a great way to discover interesting people who share the same vision and the same hope about humanity and the fact that we all are like a big family.
Interests
Music is my passion and my everyday obsession. I'm singing all the time and love to share new musics and learn new stuff.
As a teacher I'm also very interested in everything related to education and teaching, alternative teaching and methods mainly. I love to speak and teach foreign languages and to learn about different cultures and way of life.
I got very interested in everything that has to see with holistic health and practices, permaculture... and hope to learn more yet!
