Hi! I'm an... easy going person, respectful, mostly and basically happy to live, and trying to meet people, sharing experience and good moments, visiting/discovering nice places, at home or abroad!

I'm from south of France (Marseille) but I now live in... Lille ! So I love to often change my environment and habits, and meet new people :) I've also had the luck to live 10 months in the beautiful and crazy city of Istanbul.

I love eating, dancing, cooking, reading, chilling, hanging out, visiting, get lost in the street of a new city, but also just to discuss or smoke some around a good beer... or wine ! I can cook good French dishes, but also a bit of turkish food (especially their so nice breakfast). I just also don't have much expectations about things in life, and it helps not to get disappointed by anything. Just enjoy & take your time !

BUT I insist on the fact that CouchSurfing isn't a dating website for me, so if that is your goal, please pass your way! I don't judge this use of CS but I thought that specifying that could avoid some kind of... unconfortable position. Try to not to get offended by reading this, because as a girl travelling often alone or hosting people, that's just a reality :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I would like to discover the heart of the countries/places that I visit, to meet different cultures and ways of living/thinking different from mine. I want to enjoy my trip, as tourist, but not too much ! That's why meeting local people is the best way to discover a place for me. I'm crazy about travelling, changing, and meeting the unknown.

I'm not only on Couch Surfing to be receive as a host, or to host people but also to just meet people, to have some drinks, to socialize, to discover nice places that I couldn't find by myself, and so on! And especially to find people for running/hiking/cyncling in the new places that I visit. I also use CS in my own country and that's a nice experience too ! I think we should try to discover our own country/city/region as much as possible, before to like to eat the whole world. What is close from us can be amazing too !

I understood travelling is more a curiosity and a thirst of discovering, so a state of mind, than really about making kms of road... You can meet some unknown everywhere, as long as you open your eyes and want to see it !

For me CS is not just a free hotel... or else I would go to a cheap hostel it would be ok! I really see it as an exchange and a meeting! And I never arrive with empty hands, thats my religion haha ;)

I'm crazy about sports, I did some athletism so love running, especially on hiking trails, also hiking, cycling (in the city or not), horse ridding (I did some for 20 yeaes) and recently I love ... dancing ! I'm practising HOUSE dance and dancehall/hip hop since this year and I just love it ! I also really appreciate usually practising ashtanga Yoga. I would dream to at least once in my life try downhill mountain biking!

I have a particular interest in... Music! Trance/Progressive/Psytrance, and also Hardcore/Industrial/Breakcore/Crossbread Music. But my tastes also evolved to more "chilly" and listenable music (haha) like techno & house. I also love afrobeat, afrohouse, dancehall, and mainly... a lot of Hip Hop music and rap! But also many various stuffs like Cumbia, turkish music, soul, jazz... anything that is groovy actually and makes me want to stand up :D

I'm usually not crazy about commercial and "mainstream" tourist way of living. But this point still needs to be defined x)

I like Social Sciences, that I've been studying for 5 years, and I have a particular interest in Sciences Politics an Philosophy.

I was teaching english in a primary school for a year, and now next to my studies I'm a monitor in a college. Pretty physical haha but so much interesting and self-constructive ! I'm willing to become a teacher of Social & Economical sciences. I love teaching & just sharing. I'm really interested in alternative education and different pedagogical methods.

I think I'm rather easy going, at least I try to! :) Don't hestitate to exchange more messages with me before accepting to meet or host me, I completely understand. I'm a really communicative person and like to meet people that are like that too, our brains are not connected so sometimes speaking can help a lot! And... it's for free ;)

I also consider that couch surfing is not a hotel... If I wouldn't like to meet people with respect, exchange and sympathy in mind, I wouldn't be here :)
