ABOUT ME
I live in New York City and am having a blast! Although working all day isn't exactly my idea of the good life I'm still striving for freedom.
Iâm a very spontaneous person who is always up for any kind of adventure or good time. I often find it hard to say no when someone asks me if I want to go somewhere or do something whether its last minute or planned far ahead (I prefer last minute)
In June/July 2010 I went on my 2nd trip to a small village in Uganda called Bethlehem. I have been working on a project called embrace it Africa where our goal is to help boost business throughout the community. We work closely with the Bethlehem Parents School, an orphanage in the community. Two years ago a group of students from my school started the Mikwano Financial Agency, a micro-loan financing agency. Each year we give out micro-loans to local business owners with the interest payments going back to the Bethlehem Parents School. This way they will have a steady source of income to improve the school. If you want to know more, send me a message or check out our website embraceitafrica.org.
Meeting new and exciting people is always something Iâm up for so if youâre around NYC let me know!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first heard about CouchSurfing when my friend told me about his senior thesis. He was going to film a documentary about the CouchSurfing project and I immediately thought, “Damn, that’s a great idea!” Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDhaN9HHaGE

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music can be found at any given time on my iPod and radio.
Even though a lot of people say, "I like everything, but country", I actually do like everything INCLUDING country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most amazing thing I've ever done was the Gibbons Experience in Laos. Three days in the Jungle living in a tree house over 80 feet in the air. The only way in or out of the tree house was by zip line. Zip lining all through the jungle was INSANE!
In 2006 I went to the World Cup in Germany with some friends I was studying with in Italy at the time. It was the BEST time of my life! I’ve never been a part of something so crazy with so many people from all over the world. We were in Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and Kaiserslautern on a quick trip to get a taste of the greatest sporting event on the planet.
Although we couldn’t afford to actually go into any games we went to Kaiserslautern for the USA vs. Italy match and hung out at the fan fest venue to watch the game on a jumbo screen. It was the biggest party I’ve ever been to in my life. We got off the train at 11 in the morning (the game wasn’t till 9 at night) and you couldn’t even move because the streets were so packed.
If you ever get the chance to go to a World Cup, don’t even think about it, just go! 2010 is in South Africa and 2014 is in Brazil.
