ABOUT ME
Most people tell me that I'm not such a bad guy. Well hopefully they say that I'm a nice guy. Or cute. Or funny. I think that when you are just being yourself, you are automatically all these things.
I prefer to sit back and take things in, observe dynamics before I throw myself into them. If I seem quiet or reserved you may think that I'm being aloof, but don't be fooledâÃâ¬Ãâ I open up quickly, especially if you are open and engaging! I will answer almost anything you ask me, and I have a good (sometimes a little strange; ok, well really strange) sense of humor.
I love taking care of others and making them feel comfortable. I am the guy who will host a cocktail party for his own birthday and spends the whole night playing bartender. I am happy to go along with activities when I am invited, in fact I love to spontaneously make plans with others. However... this does not mean I can spontaneously host, you will have the best luck couchsurfing with me if you write more than a couple days in advance. Also, if your request looks like you didn't really write it to me personally (it is very easy to tell), then I might not feel comfortable opening up my home to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just being another cog in the big wheel, but each one is integral to it's function! Before I joined Couchsurfing, I have on occasion had many couchsurfers, known and sometimes unknown, (especially when we used to have a couch out on the porch that people would sometimes just show up on!)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only stayed with a few people through couchsurfing and have yet to actually host a surfer in my own home, though I have met them for drinks and shown them the sights... pretty much everyone that I have had contact with through this has been very pleasant. My hosts have all been spectacular people, some of whom I now feel blessed to have as friends.
Interests
I love music, art, independent and experimental film, sociological innovation, homosexuality, most animals and pets, the outdoors, the big city, and pretty much anything that has alcohol in it (but I'm a well-mannered boy who knows his limits). I love all kinds of food and enjoy preparing new meals, especially Indian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, or anything spicy, and try to cook at home as much as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a live performance of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and having her sit on my lap. Roasting and grinding cacao beans to make chocolate on an organic farm/school in Ecuador and then enjoying it with the best bananas ever (sounds pretty hippie, right?) Making lifelong friends with a random stranger on the street in a foreign country, when they were singing a song I recognized and I chimed in...
