Overview
About Me
My girlfriend and I decided to make a cut in our lives and follow our inner voice, leave everything behind and just go east. So we’re slow-traveling overland to the east. How far? We’ll see. How long? As long as it feels right. No fixed plan, no time constraints, and taking each day as it comes.
I like to question things. I´m a curious learner. A rebellious child. Children always ask WHY. Why do we stop asking Why when we grow up?! I seek challenge and adventure. I´m drawn to the unknown. Safety is only an illusion. When in doubt listen to your heart. It’s always right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used CS quite frequently ten years ago. I still have great memories from a stay with a couple in Guatemala at lake Atitlan back in 2008. I stayed with a cool couple in Grenoble, France in 2011 and a cool guy in Poland about two years later. I also hosted a few people during my time in Copenhagen between 2010 and 2012.
I hosted a few people at the beginning of this year, from Argentina, Canada and Ukraine.
Now me and my gf are on the road ourselves and we got to meet great people of this community in Lithuania, Poland and Russia.
Looking forward to more inspiring talks and people!
Interests
Whenever I´m close to nature I feel my true self. We are nature. You are. I am. Therefore I love everything that reconnects me to it: Climbing a mountain, starring in a bonfire, meditating while listening to birds sing, walking barefoot, looking at the stars in the böack sky...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To pick out just one experience is nearly impossible, but I´ll try anyway. Climbing La Malinche, one of the highest mountains in Mexico, at night, then sitting on the peak and waiting till the sun slowly makes its way to the horizon and then being greeted and warmed by the sunrays was one out of many memorable and special experiences for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Many of us have forgotten that our heart has a voice. It talks, it´s silent but it´s there. Usually we don´t hear it because of the loud voice of our mind. I’ve lately been trying to silent this loud voice bit by bit and start listening, trusting, and following my inner voice. I can just encourage everyone to try as well. It will most probably be a bumpy road, but chances are that this road will bring us closer to our inner truth.
