PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live, take the best of every situation, be positive and enjoy differences. The hurricane does not roar in pentameters!
I travel without thinking. I just follow my impulse, pack some random clothes, make sure I have something to write down my notes and go. It is in the process of that traveling lies its very aim: To understand the reason of it. I often understand its meaning after, at home when I come back and try to read through the scribbled thoughts of mine. I leave to meet myself, I stop the useless dialogue of repetition I normally have in my familiar environment and find my silence anew.
This is all about traveling: getting to know oneself again and again!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently have left my house where I was living with my boyfriend in a flat, not too big and modest, but cozy, in the very core of the Neustadt, Dresden.
NOW, I am staying at my family´s house in Cles, Italy, and am looking for jobs abroad so I cannot really host right now. But soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used to be a scout and I am used to adventure. I love camping and I hardly ever had holidays in hotels. I had most fun by getting to know the real life of the places I visited!
Interests
I am active and love sports like jogging and volleyball, I read a lot and love writing my own things in my blog, i like painting and dancing, I am into tango right now, and travelling.... above all! Moreover, I appreciate good music, I started playing the guitar, I love learning new things and share what I learnt.

Music, Movies, and Books
Memento, Vanilla Sky, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, ... I love watching movies...
Books.. well, I read too many to just put some in a list, but let's say... books by Alessandro Baricco, Umberto Eco, I love James Joyce and the poems by W. B. Yeats... Kerouak's On the road and Hermann Hesse' s Siddharta also influenced my world perspective.
And the list would be so long... Austerlitz by Sebald, The Time Traveller's Wife is the last one I read...
And music... from CAfeTAcvba to TRibalistas, Nouveau Flamenco by Otto Liebert, to Giovanni Allevi, but also Muse, Irish punk, world music... that depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am teaching different languages in Germany, I learned to dance salsa from a Japanese, but the last experience was even better, try to understand a Chinese guy talking to a French in esperanto....
Ah, I love life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell jokes, dance salsa, paint, cook Italian delicious food (this has already been tested and confirmed), draw and paint, teach you Italian, German, English, Spanish and French, do poetry, see other sides of things in life, have fun...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have been working as recreation manager and personal fitness and yoga instructor in La Gemma dell´Est, a wonderful hotel in Zanzibar Nungwi. This means that for the moment I cannot host anyone as it would be pure utopia :)
