ABOUT ME

(My first name is pretty hard to pronounce for non-French speakers, so don't hesitate to call me Polly as most of my non-french speakers friends do).

I though the schooling I had done was not enough so I'm now starting a Phd ! I'm a big fan of food and all the big global issues that are related to it.

I decicated the past years in teaching sociology at University, doing research and when possible keep on discovering the world. I am really into slow travel, walking or cycling most of the time to feel the places and the landscapes I happen to cross.
Sometimes planes can also be usefull, specially for research trips.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted a few times in Australia and South Estern Asia but at the moment, unluckily, I live in such a small place... As soon as I get settle, I'll be pleased to host people.
Overall, we really like the idea of non direct reciprocity, we think that's a good way to develop a peaceful world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been hosted a couple of time, some crazy CS nights as well. When i can't host, i manage to help people who need to get settle in Paris (finding a flat, places to visit, giving tips, ...). Hoping to host soon...

兴趣

Food (oh yeah !), global issues and crazy nights of discussions, I can also be calm and relax, enjoy an amazing landscape, walk in the peaceful nature and do more than just the "must seen places " in cities I pass by.

Almost all types of music, except some heavy metal and rap bands.

For some unkown reasons, I recently tend to developp a taste for some very kitch bolywood and indian musics. But don't be affraid, i really like World music and some electronic music too.

To me simple things are quickly amazing, right now i'm thinking of having met some good friends, being to Egypt 9 months long, coming back from Australia, have 2 paradises on Earth (Eaggle bay in Western Australia and the farm I comes from in France), hitch hiked for 5 weeks in Malaysia and Thailande,... hips more, we need to meet to talk about it!
