Hello Everyone!
My name is Manuel Carazo, but all my friends call me “Manolo”, is like a nickname, so you can do it as well. I´m from Costa Rica, and i´m very happy to be here, exploring all this amazing experience.

MY PHILOSOPHY:
When I travel, I always look to improve three main things:
1) Bravery
2) Be More Human
3) Learn how to teach

I´m a Music Teacher, specialized in IB (International Baccalaureate). I can say that music is not my profession, it´s my life. That´s why I love to travel, because i´m always looking new ways to improve myself and share what i´ve learned.
I have a passion for learning languages, meeting new people and living new experiences.

The reason why i´m here is very simple, I want to experience new things, and share it with everyone. I will never use CS to save some money in an hotel. I think that the best part of CS is its people. that is why i´m here, to contribute to this wonderful community, and share that experiences with my students.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is Classical, particularly from the Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, from which i´m a devoted fan.
In popular music, I like bands like Mumford & Sons, Karnivool, Steven Wilson, Dave Matthews Band, The Beatles, Dream Theater, Travis, The Killers, Oasis, mostly all Brit Rock.

My favorite movie is Tarantino´s "Inglorious Basterds", although I love every Quentin Tarantino´s movie.

Sports: Swimming (I love it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first amazing thing I´ve done that comes to my mind would be surviving puberty, but I think that is not the story that you want to hear, so maybe this one works:

In 2009 I made a Tour to Spain and Portugal with the most important young conductor of our century, Gustavo Dudamel.

I hope I have the chance to share it with you someday. It´s really amazing, although the puberty story is better :)

Teach, Learn, Share

As a language lover, I´m looking forward to learn and practice German, French and Italian. But if you want to share with me any other language, I will be glad!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a teacher, it´s very easy for me to teach and share my time, experience and knowledge with everyone, and of course I can be a really good listener and student to learn all the amazing things that the world has to offer.
