Overview
About Me
Just a human being doing human things (:
I pretty much sum myself in:
1) Music lover (I studied a technical education in music. I play bass as my main instrument and guitar, ukulele, some piano, some drums, etc. // I write my own music, I have an album and almost produced a second one)
2) Sports lover (I play/played volleyball semi-professionally, I love Football, I swim 4 styles, I play table tennis, Fressbie Ultimate, I hit the gym and love working out)
3) Language lover (I love to learn languages and communicate with people from all around the world. Since a young age I experienced learning english, german, a bit of japanese and when I was 20; doing Erasmus I had the chance to live a whole new experience with so many different people with lots of different languages.)
4) Literature & Philosophy lover (This part of me is the most recent and I'm still experiencing and discovering as much as I can from it. Although I'm not that academically cultured in literature, I enjoy many different genres of books (and I have a thing for novels and drama). Stoicism is the philosophical current I've read & embraced the most.)
5) Dancing (tipically, Salsa & others caribbean rhythms.
6) Coffee, Pancakes, Beer, Wine and more food.
Latino looking for his place in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share with citizens of the world.
Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to host that many travelers and couchsurfers but when I had the chance, I did and it's wonderful!(This is actually not my first profile in Couch surfing, that's why there seems to be so little information about me and no references at all).
I believe we all have so many things to share with others, and traveling and hosting people is a wonderful thing to do. The cultural exchange, experiences, things, company, etc.
Let's get to know each other and keep this wide net!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mainly Hard Rock, Soft Rock, different kinds of rock. But I love way too many other genres and naming them would take so long...
Movies: Depends on my mood... but the ones that I can watch at anytime anywhere... 3 Idiots (Bollywood one), La La Land, Batman: The Dark Knight, Kotonoha No Niwa, etc.
Books: my top 5 I would say... 1) The Double (Jose Saramago) 2) Kafka on the Shore (Haruki Murakami) 3) Wuthering Heights (Emily Brontë) 4) Viento Fuerte (Miguel Angel Asturias) 5) Steppenwolf (Herman Hesse)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First one in my family to 1) go to Europe 2) Live abroad.
10 months living in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Second in my family (first one is my mom) to play in a guatemalan national league of any sport. But first to play in the highest division of the guatemalan national league of volleyball!
