Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Manuel, I'm 28 years young and I'm an architect. Although you must have read the same data above these lines.
I love to party and go out, but also to have long walks on the beach and have profound conversations.
If I had to choose only three words to describe me, they'd be independent, caring and quiet.
With some friends we write an architecture and design magazine called Taller 9 (www.taller-9.com.ar).
In my free time I love to hang out with friends, have some beers and a good talk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to meet local people wherever I go, and visit places that aren't just tourists traps, but special.
Also because I'm broke.
Having a place to stay reduces (as you may know) many of the costs of being abroad. Not only the hotel, but also having meals at restaurants is more expensive than cooking them yourself.
This added to the fact that I totally LOVE cooking and going to the supermarket, makes me a great addition to your house, should you host me. Not that I try to sell myself.
Interests
As I mentioned, I love cooking. Not only practising, but also learning, so, if you know any recipe at all, you should tell me. I also like eating.
I also like architecture. Visiting historical buildings -mostly churches and museums-, drawing them, taking pictures, etc.
I like reading. Mostly fiction and young adult books. Harry Potter is my all time favourite. What can I say, I only grew up on the outside.
I love exercising, going out for a run or a walk, going to the gym, etc. Not a big sports fan tho.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Everything pop, from Backstreet Boys to Ariana Grande.
Movie: All the action/Sci-Fi mumbo jumbo. Love them.
Books: Love the fiction and young adults and fantasy section. I believe the best books are those that allow you to travel without leaving the sofa. One of the latest I read and loved was The Name of The Wind, by Patrick Rothfuss.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, Turkey. It was awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about architecture, and help you with Spanish language.
I hope to learn about local culture, food and improve my English.
We can share beers, conversation and most probably a good laugh.
Countries I’ve Visited
