About Me

Feel free to text me on IG if I'm not responding here or if it's time-sensitive (the push notifications often don't work) : manu.pirker.eu

Austrian student from Salzburg, living and studying in Graz. I have a huge passion for the environment and sustainability, and I'm a lot into politics. Furthermore, I'm a very sociable and outgoing person, like cooking, dancing, and partying :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to go on a youth exchange to Paris for a week with 100 people from all over Europe!

I did a European Voluntary Service in Spain, working with people with Autism, learning Spanish, and making friends from all over the world. The insight that people can always get along if they just want to, that borders are only in our minds, and that it always comes back when you do good to this world, really changed my life.

I have been to the Electric Love Festival already 4 times and it was the best time of my life! When the sun goes down in the Austrian mountains, you're in a beautiful crowd of ten thousand of people celebrating life...magical.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Culture" consists of so many more layers than you might think in the first place, and you discover them one by one, experiencing a never-ending learning experience while you live in a foreign country!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't really know what to write here but ofc I'm very much willing to give something back for letting me stay! Be it cooking something Austrian, assisting with languages, sharing my knowledge about the environment/climate change, nutrition and fitness, or be it the promise to be the best host ever when you're coming to Austria!
