About Me

Enjoying life, different people and this beautiful world and nature we are living in, whenever it is possible. I'm a positive and optimistic person who is open minded to all aspects of life! People usually feel unforced with my present..well, at least I've been told many times..=)
No prejudices, no hate but lot's of LoVe! Lol..sounds like a hippie^^

I think life is too short to live in a bubble and hecitate ur soul with unnecessary complaints! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

- It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop - Confucius

- Live as it would be the last day of your life and learn as it you will live forever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually I had a lot of moments of inspiration in my life!

- Once in India I've seen a man lying on a bench decomposing already (very shocking), but then two days later there was a woman giving birth to her baby in the bus up to Nepal! (I could see everything)
These moments changed my world view about life an death intensively!
I call it my Black & White Journey! =)

- I had a beautiful moment in a train in Sri Lanka. I was sitting opposite to a buddhist monk, next to me there was standing a conservative muslim. I am christian, not toooo religious though..but we looked to each other and started smiling. I just opened both hands and after a short moment all three of us closed the hand circle and started laughing!
It was a moment of respect and equality that made me and many people in the train very happy! =)

- Once I had a really bad day in Jordan, everything went wrong! The taxi overcharged us (a german traveler girl I met and me), the weather was cloudy and oppressive, I had headache, I did not have enough money for the entry of the "Ruins of Petra", since they rised prices double within a year (the german traveler girl went inside on her own) and people were kind of rude and unfriendly to me. I had this situation of being lost and being treated unfair, right in front of the ticket counter.
Three guys passed by - one of them just handed me a tiny leather book without a word...they walked on and he looked back smiling at me. It was a Quran! What am I supposed to do with a Quran? Well I didn't have time and passion to think about it, so I just put it in my pocket.
Still furious and sad about my situation I stood there in the middle of the path..no idea what to do!
At once a man came up to me (Mohanad) with a bottle of cool pepsi (I actually do not appreciate liquid sugar, but a did an exception..lol), we sat down, talked and he calmed me very nicely. I gave him the leather book since he could need it more than me. He opened it, looked at me with big eyes and said surprisingly loud: "Vallah a Quran...for me?...Come my friend!"
It turned out to be one of the most controverse and best days I had in my life. We went to his shop, friends came in with a big plate of lamb and rice, we all ate together on the floor, having fun, laughing! He drove me up to a very cheap and nice hostel, he knew the ticket vendor and got me a ticket for half price, my headache was already gone, the sky got clear and beautiful blue! I went into the ruins (it's a 2-3 hrs walk, people were already coming back and I was the last one going in)..man, I was jumping and strutting like the little Red Riding Hood..lol..I met some Bedouins, we smoked the Shisha, talked deeply about their culture and life in the desert. One of them played this awesome sound with "something like a guitar" - all on the top of the mountain with an unforgettable sun setting view.
I met a beautiful woman up there, we walked back in a mysterious atmosphere in the dark, met with Mohanad and spent the whole evening in a Shisha bar, laughing and enjoying life with awesome people! It was AMAZING! How fast a situation can change!

Perhaps just a nice coincidence......perhaps not! ;)

You'll find a few pictures of that day in my photo gallery, since I really appreciated the entire day! =)
