ABOUT ME

I grew up in a very little town in Germany, Bavaria. My father teached me everything about travelling from early years on and I got as passionate about it as him. I learned to respect other cultures, lifestyles and always to expect the unexpected. I am curious to meet friendly people and to share my lifetime with them, exchange experiences and to explore together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I had many great experiences with CS and I want to give some of that back to travellers like me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience: Two friends of mine and me were looking for a place to stay in Miami for a couple of days and Julian made contact with a girl who wanted to host us. She and her little son lived alone and hosted three foreign guys in her little house for a couple of days! I will never forget the overwhelming trust she offered us and the warm and friendly environment! Hospitality is one of the nicest gesture one can offer and what I am always willing to share, too.

Interests

I basically enjoy every kind of outdoor activities. Enjoying nature and its beauty makes me feel happy and being alive. So I take every chance to go hiking, climbing or diving....or whatever else is posible at the place where I am write now.
If I have time I love to cook and try all the different dishes you can find on the way that for me is a big and important part during traveling. As much I enjoy getting to know new cultures and people, I sometimes also like to spend some time alone reading or just relaxing. So on one hand I love the adventure, but on the other hand, I am a quiet guy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a biologist and I am always pleased to tell you what I learned during my studies, if you are interested. But I am also curious to learn from you! In fact it doesn't matter what you studied or not, I am sure you made your own personal experiences in you life, which I would be interested in.
