About Me

I love life, energetic people, sharing experiences, smiles and keeping on discovering my path by little steps. Something I have really clear now:
"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn".

_____________

In September 2016 I moved to Spain, to take part to the volunteering program of the Civil Service. I have been working in a school with children and it was simple to fall in love with this job. Seeing the smiles of children every day is something you can't pay.

I've always been a "Scientist" in my life. I studied Physics and so on, and then I decided to dedicate myself and my time to people who might need it...working more with emotions than with "numbers", as I was used to.
One of the best choices of my life, I can tell it right now. :)

_____________

I'm really flexible and able to adapt myself to any kind of situations and experiences, I do enjoy it when I have to!
I love changes and it's something so important for me to grow and mature.

I think one of the best things I learnt in the last years is that the best is when you don't expect anything, then everything will come. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came across Couchsurfing the first time a bunch of years ago, when I was living in London as an Erasmus student.
I just hosted some friends of mine in my little room, but some of my flatmates did host people through CS. This way I could meet many interesting people who were living in my flat for a few days...I had the chance to chat, have breakfast together or share places to visit.
It was amazing just the fact of having new people to cook with and smile at almost every week.

Interests

I love building connections with people and listening to stories: it keeps my mind open.

I love traveling and I think that doing it alone is the best way in which people can really improve (and know better) themselves.

I like studying languages, and I'm getting better in my Spanish at the moment!

Music, Movies, and Books

All the Italian and Spanish/South American SKA music, rock, folk and Indie.
I love getting to know new music! If you have something to suggest, you're very welcome!

I love books from Gabriel Garcia Marquez and I like reading about psicology. I like watching to movies but I have a totally bad memory to remember titles :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel that it's amazing anything you do when you really want to. :)

1. Servizio Civile, 2017. More and more I am realizing that sharing with people is the most amazing thing we can do (:

2. Walking 800 km of the Camino de Santiago, 2016 - one of the most experience of my life till now. It's all about discovering that the really great things we need are the simplest :))

3. Making research for two years at University of Milan in Environmental Physics, 2014-2016: measuring pollution in big and small cities in order to improve technologies for breathing cleaner air in our globe :)

4. Erasmus exchange programme, London, 2013-2014. Living with 6 people in a small house listening to 6 different languages every day!

5. Nature. Feeling the fresh wind coming up the cliff wall and sleeping on the beach and be waken up by the sun shining. Hiking and camping for 15 days of rain, 2006-2008.

6. Dancing Lindy Hop on the banks of the Guadalquivir in Seville at sunset - 2018.

7. Going by myself somewhere and just start talking with random people. (This still happens! :D )

8. Last but not least...solving Rubik's cube!

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all, a sentence I would like to share, which is my philosophy of life:
"Se feliz, y haz felices a los demás"
("Be happy, and make all beings happy").
It's something I've been taught while walking the Camino de Santiago. When you want, it's not difficult to achieve in this, and understanding it is great.

And well then...concretly speaking, I can teach you how to cook pasta at the perfect degree! Haha...or just cook it for you. I'd love even if you share with me any of your home country recipe.

I like learning anything I still don't know...and I love listening good storytellers!

I love sharing life experiences and listening to those of people who travelled...it makes me know new and different places through their eyes, memories and feelings.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like eating good food and love cooking as well...so I'd love to meet people to share those moments with!

I love chatting and getting to know the culture of people I meet to better understand me...I'm very curious about what's different from stuff I am used to.

I also love live music and dancing so whenever there is a concert I'm in!
