Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find hotels room very sterile . They can be good if you look for loneliness or privacy.
On the other hand, stay in people's home is very fertile. It can easily grow a new friendship, new ideas, suggestions, directions, and so on...

Music, Movies, and Books

Even if I'm not a musician, I like to play guitar (as much as I can) and sing when there's a nice group atmosphere. I try to travel without mp3 player, but I'm happy to listen good music whenever I find it.

Watch movies and talk about is one of my favorites activity. I like to take time before I select my movie of the night, listen my feelings, try to understand what would be the best for me. That's why I can't tell there's a type of movie I like to watch. It depends from the day. "Life's too short for bad movies".

Books are a pleasant drug for me. I read most of the time classic literature but I go even trough different kind, of course. I like the possibility to live others life and travels. I like to feel myself a different person once I finish the book. It's the same with movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

The ideal: to teach without be a teacher, and to learn without be a student.
What is a teacher for me? Is someone doesn't pretend or wish to be more then you; Is someone who's remembering you a different point of view, a knowledge you forgot.
What is a student/learner? Is someone who doesn't feel ignorant, or stupid, just because think he doesn't know; Is someone is open to receive and being richer trough new point of views.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like so much to cook. My mother is a chef and so I grew up keeping her flavours and tips. Traveling around also is giving me the opportunity not only to influence my taste and experiment new flavours, but even to share it with differents friends (and hosts!).
