ABOUT ME

I am an avid reader and traveler. Sadly, traveling takes more time and money than reading, so I do read more than I travel. Whenever I can, I like to plan a trip in a couple days and then make it happen. I love staying in hostels and meeting all sorts of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Just living life, trying to enjoy it, trying not to screw anyone up in the proccess and do what I set out to do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mexico is regarded as a very unfriendly or dangerous place sometimes, especially Mexico city, so I'd like to provide a friendly experience for visitors so they leave the country with a good taste in their mouth. Plus, I like to meet people from all over the world just in case one day I end up in their country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Finland to a metal festival and decided to meet with some people from forums I used to attend, it was a big gathering of online people from said forums and we had a jolly ole time listening to bands and drinking. When the festival ended I was going to head back to my hostel and one of the people in the gathering invited me to stay at her apartment to save money. It was a very good time to know I had a place to arrive at night or someone to go out with to museums and not so touristic but very finnish places.

Música, películas y libros

I like different kinds of movies. Ranging from the ones that leave you with a strange taste in your mouth and keep you thinking for days to silly ones that make you laugh and not think too much.

Music is mainly metal in all of its varieties, then I switch to jazz/funk for a while, some classical, some punk, progressive rock and then I drift back to metal.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of the most amazing traveling experiences I have had was going to a protected beach in southern Mexico and seeing turtles arrive to lay their eggs as well as turtle eggs hatch and seeing the little fellas go in the ocean.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach people how to have a map to traverse a city and still get hopelessly confused, lost, angry but eventually reach their destination.
