About Me
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, I've travelled a bit through Europe mostly working, and now 've been enjoying Berlin for the past two years.
The job is cooking in a chic cuisine, and although I pass most of my time cooking, you'll probably won't find me spending much time in other kitchens (I order pizza at home).
I normally don't talk much, and I must say that is quite uneasy for me to meet new people. Nevertheless, I do enjoy a good conversation, about lots of stuff.
I am very friend to my friends and general people, and I'm always ready to give a hand to anyone. I am also good on finding solutions to practical problems; also, I never get lost anywhere!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This website was recommended to me by a cousin who had a great experience in the past, and so, as I came to Berlin, I decided to join the community with the idea of meeting great people with similar interests, and maybe to find something interesting to do in lonely days.
Interests
I would have to say that Music is my biggest interest. Although my guitar skills aren't the best, I am very comfortable playing instruments and inventing new tunes.
Art would be my second big interest, specialy urban and street art. I like to visit art museums, even though I might know the artist's work to the bone. The whole atmosphere just relaxes me and helps getting my ideas right.
I am a cook on my normal day life, and so I learned to enjoy food in a different way as "normal people". Not saying here that I am best, just that compared to all my friends, I tend to be much more critical about food and to find extra flavours where they don't.
I am not much of a reader, but I really enjoy BDs, and of it is a science book or magazine, count me in for reading it!
Also I'd have to include videogames on this list. I enjoy knowing what's on the news and to try different kinds of games.

Music, Movies, and Books
Read some books when I was younger, mostly fiction, and I enjoyed authors like J.R.R. Tolkien, A. Conan Doyle, Dan Brown, José Rodrigues dos Santos, Franz Kafka, Henry Miller. Loved the Asterix BDs and Blake and Mortimer too.
I hear basicly everything, from Classic to Hardcore Metal, going through Reggae, Jazz, Flamenco, Pop, Traditional and Gospel. If it is good, I like it!
Not much into Cinema. Last time I went to the cinema to watch some movie I think it was 4 years ago.
