ABOUT ME

Actually, we are loving our first travel. Sometimes its a little bit hard, but our free days here in North America are counted so we enjoy every second. We are easygoing and relaxt. Matthias loves to talk about mostly every topic. I can be bit quiet, but after a little time......! Matthias loves fishing, snowboarding and skatebords. And he can talk about it the whole day long, so better start another topic. He is a very open and kind person who like to help, so if you have any problems in your home, just let him know, he will try to fix it (he worked as a house technican for more than 4 years). I'm a vegetarien and love to cook and sports. I like to read and i always try to find some minutes for my study, so ... so if you will see me with some mathematics, no it's not just for fun ;) For fun i go jogging, on small farmer markets, take pictures and visit cities, try new recipies and yes... the travel here in Canada is a lot of fun!
My perfect day starts with tea and coffee and i'm a morning person if i don't need to talk to much....
We have sleepingbacks and a matresse, so one of us can sleep on the floor, we are clean, make dishes and clean after using anything, we try to be quiet and don't like to disturb somebody in his daily routine.
i thinks its enough to know something about us, what ever you want to know... ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we started to surf on our travel here in canada and we had a lot of great new experiences. After a week in a hostel with a lot of drunken people, bad smell and chancing people every day we decided we want to meet the people who really live in here. You can see the country in a different view and isn't it great to meet other people and afterwards you have a new friend? I meet here some people i will definitly stay in touch with and I hope, i will see them again in my life! We don't know who it is to open our own door for a traveler but we never felt like stranger when somebody opend the door for us and this is a really new and great experience. Most of the time we felt like coming home and this is a very important feeling when you are on travel.

Interests

We both love to be in the mountain (we live in the winter in the mountains) with hiking snowboarding, walking, going into the forest, collecting the big presents mother nature gives to us, we like climbing, cooking (mostly healthy food), cycling, new creative ideas to bild things by ourself, gardening (we woofed here a lot, means willing workers on organic farms.) We like to go to the museum and learn new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy to read a good book and i read every free minute! And i read every kind of books (just start to read in english for praticing). I love thrillers from Skandinavia, England and Scotland like Hakan Nessan, Henning Mankell, Ian Ranking.... but i also like for relaxing to read things like Sophia Kinsella or other funny books. I'm interessted in cookingbooks and i love to have the InStyle Fashion Magazin every month! I watch Movies and Series (the last was the insider guide of happiness)
and last but not least i hear every kind of music, for every mood another thing... reaggy, old stuff, country, rock and i love king of leon and also electronic music like the chemical brothers or a good dj set!

What ever you want to know, ask.... i love to talk about organic food and the problems of the nature, plastic and how the people make themself sick with grab food! Any questions about Massages, Cosmetics and Facials stuff like this... it's my job!
Austrian food.... if you like to try a Kaiserschmarrn or other vegetarian austrian thinks, just give us a kitchen or something like that!
Matthias loves to share everything about fishing, snowboarding, soccer, skateboarding and he is good with trees and plants!!! Give him a rod and have fun!
