I have made a mid-career change from fundraising for Columbia University to doing a PhD in medieval european history to become a history professor. I have just finished my PhD & am now a postdoc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet interesting people. I went to an international school called Pearson College in Canada years ago and liked meeting a wide variety of people from different countries. I see couchsurfing as a way to recreate my UWC United World College experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just hosted a couchsurfer for the first time (July 2010) in Princeton and had a very good experience. I have also hosted here in Vienna and I have also been hosted in England, France, and Germany. I ver much enjoyed meeting my hosts and guests.
