About Me
I guess the best way of describing who I am is by describing how I lived my life so far.
After finishing my A-levels in Münster, Germany I went to teach English in a small little town in southern China. When I came back I started working in an online marketing company for half a year before I started studying law in Bochum. During my studies I went to live in northern Spain for half a year to do an Erasmus-Semester. So far I've seen plenty of places and I intend on seeing plenty more. Frankly I think traveling is the best way to eradicate racism, simple-mindedness and all that non-sophisticated bullshit born from utter ignorance and fear of the unknown.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd rather sleep on the not so comfy couch of a total stranger than sleep in a sterile hotel that makes me feel like I'm in a damn hospital. Besides there is nearly nothing that I cherish as much as a good conversation. The idea of sharing something personal with somebody who doesn't even know you and thus probably won't judge you for it is very refreshing and appealing to me.
I love to get to know new people and I believe there is always something you can learn from the person you are talking to if you only take the time to listen and maybe question your own ignorance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a good read and a nice movie and I enjoy music of pretty much every kind.
I do think though that music and books can actually influence our emotions in a way that movies hardly can.
