I wish to meet people from all over the world and welcome them to the nicer parts of my hometown: San José. Likewise, I've traveled solo from time to time, but I have not really done the whole hostel circuit. Friends who have tell wonders of the people you meet. I'd like to experience the social aspect of it and, at the very least, meet locals and fellow travellers when I go abroad.

I lived in Switzerland and Spain for many years and find a certain resonance with fellow globetrotters, sharing stories about multicultural experiences and that sense of no longer being from a particular place, but carrying different parts of the worlds, cultures, and perspectives inside of you. I'm all for learning from each other, sharing anecdotes, and creating new stories together.

I would describe myself as someone passionate, intense, thoughtful, spontaneous, friendly, witty, sharp, kind, romantic, positive, and hopeful. There are also negative traits, of course - don't we all have them? But I'd like to focus on the half glass.

Joining Couchsurfing again, after a very long hiatus.
Let's see how it works this time around.

I very much welcome the opportunity to meet, talk and bond with people from many different parts of the world.

I was pretty active in this community 10+ years ago. It's been a while, so much so that I deactivated that profile and had to create a new one. Some people I met, I had little in common with me, and I barely remember their names and faces. Others, I can vividly recall, and many memorable moments were shared.

A warm welcome to an often overlooked, underappreciated city: San José, my birthplace and hometown.
Though much has been lost of its past splendor, there are still quite a few places to visit, sights to see, experiences to enjoy.
