I was fed up with life 6 years ago in Durham (UK) - so I filled up my backpack, left on a one-way ticket to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with £1000 in my pocket and figured I'd work it out along the way. Since then I've travelled and lived in countries all over the world and realised that a lot of the beliefs that I had back home were given to me and not my own!

The vast majority of my experiences have been positive and I'm only just getting started! :)

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Getting paid to travel the world is literally the best job I've ever had. I'm grateful for it, but one issue when working with fancy hotels (I know, let's hear those violins kick in) is that I tend to have a major disconnect with locals and local life of the country that I'm travelling in.

I'm hoping to change that by meeting more travellers and locals on Couch Surfing!

Interesses

I'm a man of many interests. I love a wide range of music from cheesy pop, to hard rock, to classical...and all the rest. I'm a movie geek and I reluctantly became vegan over 3 years ago after giving proper thought to it all and I've been learning Spanish ever since living in Colombia and Mexico.
