Hi :)

I'm from Connecticut in the northeast, US. I spent over a year living in Costa Rica and traveling around Central America this past year. I'm headed to New Zealand to live there for three months.

I'm adventurous.

I love making movies and surfing. I'm into music, dancing, traveling, art, and being immersed in nature, especially if it involves being around water. I love meeting people who share these passions too.

One of the things I enjoy most in life is listening to people's stories.

I like to live a healthy lifestyle and eat well. No drugs or smoking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling the world experiencing the diversity there is, forming new friendships, living in a culture different from the one I was born into, seeing the beauty which exists in the natural environments around the globe, and obtaining a global education.

I am also seeking opportunities to help and inspire the people I meet...maybe you :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Lord of the Rings, The Bible,... I read a variety of literature, folktales, poetry, fitness guides, learn how-to books, and textbooks.

Music: I love going to live shows and seeing local bands play. I gravitate towards traditional Irish music, which I play and sing. I sometimes get into a particular type of music and listen to that one type for awhile. I have many different music interest.

Movies: Will update soon, need to think about this....wow, too many

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English, basic film making/video editing and photography, Irish language, modern tech (computers, phones, tablets, the internet), basic surfing, swing and latin dancing, crafting, jewelry making, ceramic hand molding, drawing.

Learn: Everything.

Share: I can take photos for you, help you with arts/craft/design projects. I can cook for you Puerto Rican food, American food (the good stuff, not the processed :) ...), and dishes that have influences from other countries. We can go surfing or folk, latin, or swing dancing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I take portraits or family photos. I love to cook, and given that I am able to find the ingredients, I could cook some traditional Puerto Rican dishes. I also cook popular American dishes.
