ABOUT ME

I received my BA in Anthropology and Philosophy, currently enrolled in M.A. in Consciousness Studies and Transpersonal Psychology, topics which move me deeply. I am also a holistic massage therapist and yoga and massage instructor, I travel for work teaching around the US and internationally. Traveling, healing, cultural exchange and teaching on meditation, yoga, shamanism moves me to the deepest level of gratitude and love for humanity. I love sharing with people. I am very easily pleased and I'm not very needy so if the floor or the patio is all you can offer me I'll take it. I love to travel, it is one of my passions! I am pretty easy going, a little silly and i like to think I am funny :p

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few people and been hosted as well. I enjoy hosting people who come from all walks of life. I hope if i get to host people I can provide them with a pretty good idea of my town and hopefully they will come back or we will keep in touch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

La Paz, Bolivia with Daniel Danko. Amazing host, not only did he help me out but ultmately ended up helping all 6 of us who were traveling together when my friends' CS hosts turned out to be... not so friendly.

Ive hosted people at my house and showing them around where I live is cool... I get to feel like a tourist too

Most recently i had a hostel in Bogota, Colombia where we received surfers and showed them around downtown.

Art, anthropology, photography, native cultures, reading, movies, traveling, pottery, massage, energy work... just about anything that is fun, new or out of the ordinary. Currently my interest has been sparked (ignited and exploded) by social philosophy and existential philosophy... and skill/fire toys like poi, devil sticks, juggling etc...

oh man.... too many... movies: pi, requiem for a dream, fear and loathing in las vegas, i am not there, 12 monkeys, seven, gummo, kids, fight club, slc punk, i mean.. i cant even organize my thoughts enough to list all of them... books: i love reading Tom Robbins and anything related to this influences. I like to read just about anything although the anthropological theory for school occupies most of my reading hours. I'm interested in the philosophy of Marx, Weber, Durkheim, Heidegger, Kierkegaard, Sartre, deBeauvior, Nussbaum, Baudrillard, Adorno, Chomsky, Foucault, Freud... Music: industrial, punk, reggae, spanish rock, metal (black/death metal moves my soul like no other genere) SHPONGLE! dubstep, psytrance, um... trippy stuff?Basically almost anything and everything.... passionate about music

I can teach spanish or english, I love learning about other cultures and about people's travels... I can also teach skill toys, ceramics, yoga... Massage is the ultimate expression of sharing, if you're achin, if you're hurtin, if you're loving, if you're laughin, kind compassionate touch can change the world, one human at a time. I can also teach you Thai massage, which is what I teach professionally around the world, also breathwork, yoga, talks about Buddhism, shamanism, hinduism, an a whole bunch of other isms
