About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life

ABOUT ME

So let's be modest : I see myself as an open-minded person, always curious about new experiences and meeting new people. Sometimes naive or to pessimistic, sometimes overexcited and talkative (with a bit of an high-putched voice) or totally spaced out... I can even sometimes look very wise (yes, yes).

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short ... So let's start now to improve things around us! Be positive and spread your happiness around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to be quite active in the CS community a few years ago. Now I happen to take part to some CS meetings with my former roomies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a lot of couch surfing when I lived in Canada. I was a member of the Ottawa group and took part to some events. I met quite a lot of people there and really had fun.
In Paris, I lived with people I met on CS website, and I met few couchsurfers there.

Interests

Travelling, dancing, hiking, hanging out, dancing, going "into the wild", reading, watching movies, political movies, historical movies, humoristic movies, cooking, cooking with friends, welcoming friends, laughing, being funny, or not, taking pictures, making weird things, meaning about capitalist assholes who destroy the biosphere and trying to save the planet, of course

Music, Movies, and Books

Amélie Poulain, le Vent se lève, The Big Lebowski... Jazz manouche, "rap musette", pop-rock music from the 70s, historical romans...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to the Grand Canyon, Delphes (Greece), the Alambra, on Paris' rooves, and under Paris' ground (the unofficial Catacombes, tatatam)... on Ottawa's rooves as well, actually. Also spent one week in a shephard house in the French mountains. It was quite new for me to live without electricity and so enjoying.
I went camping in an almost desert island in the west of Vancouver island and met a wolf there. I spent a whole winter in Canada, and sorry my friends from Ottawa, but to me, this was more than a challenge. I ate some beaver hunted and cooked by Algonquin people and slept in a quenzie with a French sleeping bags... (well, I had 2 sleeping bags, but it was definitely not enough...)

Teach, Learn, Share

"Je ne sais qu'une chose, c'est que je ne sais rien". Sorry guys but I am more able to question than to answer. Maybe I can teach you French language and Celtic danse from Brittany (France), if you're a very bad cook I can teach you how to eat more healthy, how to become as paranoic about chemicals and phtalates as I am, etc. and maybe some more things that I am maybe not aware of yet!
