Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to open up my home to new people. In Utrecht I had some great experiences hosting, so I will be opening my current home in Eindhoven now. My first hosting experience was very fun. I had some tickets for a comedy show, so 5 min after meeting we were at the theater. My own stay in Oslo was very nice too, where I was shown some local sights.

Interests

I love cooking and baking. If you're up for it you can teach me some new recipes.
Looking more into hiking and camping recently, but would like it more if I find some friends to join me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to watch a lot of movies, but now I am addicted to series. I also try to watch as much as I can from British tv shows like 8 out of 10 cats, Would I lie to you, etc

I have too many books and I will never read them all, but I like to read Englisch classics , romantic novels and fantasy. Some of my favourite books are The wheel of time, Earth's Children and The importance of being Earnest.

I'm terrible at making music playlists. I usually scavenge music from others, but am unable to make appropriate playlist and end up with weird mashups. When I'm alone I tend to listen to podcast in stead of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent one month volunteering in Indonesia at an animal rescue centre. The work with the animals was hard but rewarding and I was sorry to leave.

My trips to Norway and Sweden were some of my favorites, because the sights and hikes were so beautiful. On the other hand, the same can be said of Croatia and Crete.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My home and my time.
I have a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom you can use during your stay.
I also have a bike, but I found it in the bushes so it's not that sturdy.
