About Me

I am a writer by profession and by passion. If you are visiting the Philippines for the first time, I can recommend beautiful places for you to visit. But whatever happens, do not skip the city. Most foreigners tend to just go to the touristy parts of the Philippines and most Filipinos discourage tourists to stay long in the city. I say otherwise. The Philippines is much more than Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, or Palawan. The heavy traffic, the crowd, even the dirty and other unpleasant sceneries are all part of this country. To truly appreciate the Philippines you shouldn't limit yourself to seeing the best beaches this country can offer, you should also experience the jungle that is Manila. Go talk with our people, go eat that balut, go take the public transport and wait hours in the traffic. I swear to you these would make for a more profound experience. You would also have more fun stories to tell when you go back home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to meet people and make new friends. I want to share to them some things about my country and I want to learn about theirs as well.
