Hi! My name is Mara and I'm a 26-year-old Master's student in Environment and Resource Management. I grew up in the Netherlands, am currently living in Amsterdam, yet, was born in Lisbon. And unfortunately, I do not speak any Portuguese. Shame on me. I am a friendly person that, frankly, can be a little chaotic from time to time (a little lot).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am working on my thesis over the summer - the struggle - and figured meeting up with some couchsurfers might be a good way of getting the holiday feel without actually leaving Amsterdam.

My favorite movie would be Good Will Hunting I think, or Me, Earl and the Dying Girl, but I guess it's not very well known and Moonrise Kingdom. Concerning music, I don't have a favorite. I can enjoy indie-folk, jazz, rock, soul, classic, rap. Whatever really, no specific genre .
