Student studying abroad in Chile from the United States! I love to hang out with nature, hiking, biking, reading or simply soaking up some sun! I grew up outside of Washington D.C. but have always been drawn to travel! So far I have been to countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America! Equally eager to share languages and stories, drink beer over a campfire or go dancing late into the night!

While the environment of a hostel means you meet more people, Couchsurfing allows you to create intimate and personal relationships with people all around the world you would not have otherwise met! I can't wait to meet up with new people for a drink and some great conversation!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love everything independent and am always eager to learn new bands. Check out Spoon, White Stripes, Strokes, Punch Brothers, City and Colour. I read obsessively, love the classics "On the Road", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "Anna Karenina". Documentaries mostly for film but I always watch all Oscar nominees: The Square, Argo, Silver Linings Playbook etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like simple things like campfires with new friends or lazy conversations but amazing...travelled by myself for the first time without any ID or money and made it out on the other side :) I'll tell you the story sometime!
