Overview
About Me
I'd like to keep it short and simple and hope to tell you more about me when we meet, either at your or my place or anywhere else in the world :-)
I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit, Social- and Healthcare Management in Innsbruck, Austria. I grew up in Vienna and Styria, so I got the chance to both live in a big city but in the countryside as well and I appreciate both a lot. I started my Masters degree in Socioeconomics but quit after a few days because I felt like travelling again. Spent 3 months working and travelling in Iceland where I also did my exchange semester in 2016. I had such a great time there which is why I will always return to Iceland. Right now I'm taking a gap year or at least one semester, started travelling in Canada and the U.S., currently exploring Southeast Asia and its beauty :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm probably on couchsurfing for the same reason as most of us here. I like to stay with locals and spend time with them a lot more than going on a typical tourist trip somewhere. It's not the most important thing for me to save money and stay somewhere for free, it's more about being able to not only stay somewhere but also get to know interesting people, see a place/region/country from someone's perspective and not from a travel guide book and hopefully also give something, even if it's just a bottle of wine, interesting conversations and stories, delicious dinner or a friend for a lifetime :-)
Interests
You will find that out when we meet but to get an idea of me here are a few (basic) things I enjoy:

Music, Movies, and Books
Almost aaaall of the Icelandic artists are just great, music and movies. I can't really say anything about Icelandic literature but about music and movies and most of them are just great. Sin Fang, Gangly, Pascal Pinon, Sigur Ros, mum, Samaris, Soley, Junius Meyvant, Valdimar but also Ulfur Ulfur, Reykjavíkurdætur and many many more.
I'm bad with movie titles but I mostly enjoy Scandinavian, Nordic filmmakers and their sense of humour for example Hellfjord!
Utopia, Fortitude aaand stuff like that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going on a roadtrip in Iceland in the end of November when it's limited daylight, sleeping outside when it's minus degrees and watching northern lights from the hot tub.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can definitely teach you some German even though I don't really think it's a beautiful language. I can also teach you Latin which is even more unnecessary. How about some French? Or we try to learn sign language together, always wanted to properly learn it.
I can share good and bad stories, but who can't?
I can tell you how to do analogue photography and what's so special about it.
I can be a good listener for everything you want to share with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm pretty uncomplicated and easy-going but definitely reliable, clean and obliging. First thing I will share with you is honesty :-)
