About Me
IMPORTANT!
Hello CSers out there! Please make sure when you send a request for a couch that you're not actually looking for a place in Buenos Aires City. I live near La Plata, in the Province of Buenos Aires, which is around 60 km from Buenos Aires City. I hate rejecting requests, but most people either don't read profiles properly, or don't know there's a difference between the City of Buenos Aires, and the Province of Buenos Aires. Thank you!
CURRENT MISSION
Hosting people from different countries/cultures can be as good as traveling sometimes. My mission is to show foreigners how we live in Argentina, and get an insight of their culture and habits as well.
ABOUT ME
I'm a very outgoing person, I love meeting new people from different places all the time. I am a freelance translator and a part-time writer, I work from home on a kind of 9-5 schedule Mon to Fri, but I can ditch work for a short while during the week. I love traveling, I have traveled all around Argentina, and then abroad for different periods of time, from 6 weeks to 9 months. I love music, I played the piano for over a decade, but then I changed to smaller strings, and now I'm working on improving my guitar and bass guitar skills. I live alone, but I'm hardly ever alone. In Argentina friends and family show up unannounced at any time, usually bringing drinks, food, and amazing company so it's never boring around here! My home is a small but welcoming, a comfortable place. I've hosted over a dozen people from other countries, and I loved each experience. I have plenty of friends, we get together quite often for dinner parties, drinks or clubbing, and CSers usually join us.
PHILOSOPHY
Dance like nobody's watching!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I believe that the only way to actually know a place is hanging out with locals, who know exactly where to go and what to do in their hometowns. That's why I joined CS, because I want to show people from other countries the beauties of my hometown, this part of Argentina I know so well and love.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've come to realize that a CS Experience isn't only either hosting or being hosted. After traveling the world for nine months, besides being hosted by many wonderful people, I had amazing experiences with people I didn't meet through CS but they all happened to be part of CS. The CS experience and the CS spirit is everywhere!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This may not be the greatest thing for many people, but it is for me. I wrote a book that got awarded and published in Spain. This is one of my most important accomplishments so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn more foreign languages. I've learnt 4 so far and it's been amazing! I can teach Spanish, music (I play the piano and I'm taking bass guitar and drum lessons right now), I can teach how to cook Argentinean meals and how to dance Tango.
