I have a rather interesting life. I was born and raised in Mexico City. One of my parents is mexican and the other is German, with this special mix, I have been able to learn Spanish and German, as well as a lot about both cultures and their traditions.
I’m a marine biologist who is currently landlocked, but I’m excited to be exploring our Colorado Rockies.
I am eager to get exposed to different new experiences and, from that, grow as a person and become more open-minded and well-rounded.
I have a jovial spirit, as a friend has described me. I enjoy making people laugh and sharing positive energy with the people surrounding me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I believe that you have a better sense of a new culture if you actually submerge yourself in it, by staying at hostels or local homes, trying new things, meeting new people and so on, rather than staying at a 5 star hotel and just hanging out at their pool. This is why I have chosen couch surfing for my travels, as it has been recommended to me by some friends.

Intereses

I am intrigued by the beauty of the ocean, nature and animals. The more I am outside in nature, the happier I am. I love traveling and learning about new cultures and traditions from people all over the world. I enjoy cooking, taking pictures, going on hikes, drinking a chai or tea in the morning, going to museums and many more.

Música, películas y libros

Music: anything that just sounds good to my ear.
Movies: usually thrillers, action movies, crime solving, comedy and of course sometimes I need those movies girls like and need.
Books: working on opening up more horizon by reading. Anything that will help me learn more in my field or other subjects, but also a good thriller that will make me not put the book down.

I have been able to live in 5 different countries +1 US territory and speak 4 languages.
I have done great internships in the field of biology from working at zoos, doing research in Woods Hole, Massachusetts and exploring the jungle of Costa Rica. Sailed the Sargasso Sea and so much more.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can help out with cooking and any chores needed to be done, as I always try to be a good guest and not make a mess.
Many laughs, jokes, knowledge and a wonderful experience. There might be more I could share and offer once I am there.
