About Me
I'm new to CS so you'll have to excuse the minimal writing about myself but once I have a little more time I intend to update this.
For now please enjoy the things I've updated down below.
I'm a five foot, quirky Latina/Asian woman.
At times I let my inner child out and thus the adventure begins.
I love food and drink from different cultures and music is the love of my life which is pretty dope.
I have days when I love going out, listening to live music or a good dj, meeting new people, enjoying some rum and dancing until 4am and finding adventures that just happen to find me (believe me it happens more often than not).
I also have days where I just want to have some brunch, enjoy the weather (sunny or rainy), watch some Netflix, explore new music via technology and have great conversation.
I try to stay reasonably healthy having lost quite a bit of weight in the past year as I had type 2 diabetes. I try to walk or run 4 miles at least 3 or 4 times a week.
I'm still a foodie regardless of the above. I just learned to balance things more often.
As I said below I am a music coach/teacher. I also assist with studio sessions for artists as well as record my own music/covers in the studio and assist film and photo shoots.
Most of my friends range from musicians, fellow teachers, videographer and photographers as well as people in computer programming, marketing/advertising and the medical field.
I tend to host alot of themed events from Friendsgiving to Friendmas parties.
My place is what I like to call the safe haven. It's home to whomever I allow into my space and you will always be surrounded by framily.
It sounds cliche but I love to live life as much as one can. I live as if this is the only one I've got (as I've been pretty lucky to get another chance to live after an extreme moment in my life.) I will always be me but an ever growing and ever changing me which I don't apologize for but embrace.
If you have any other questions I hope my slow updates help in any way possible.
Sending positive vibes and energies to all of you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling. Occasionally I take some last minute trips but sometimes those can be the best kinds of adventures. I also happen to like the company of people even if their personality is more silent and passive than mine. It gives me a chance to reflect. When I find someone else who's personality matches my own completely then you may find that you have made yourself a life long friend.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I have a very eclectic taste in music.
Anything from hip hop, rap (yes there is a difference), bachata, merengue, electronic, soul, indie pop, rock, country, jpop, reggaeton, kpop, instrumentals, movie scores, and more.
I love going and finding new artists before they become much bigger. There's something so beautiful about an artist and musicians first tour where you can feel the love of what they do with every word and every note.
Books: I also tend to love almost all books and am quite the book junkie. I prefer hard copies to the whole electronic book idea. I love the smell of the pages of a new book. Athough I do love fictional ones with a great storyline such as Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and many other mysteries, I also love books by comedians such as Mindy Lahiri, Chelsea Handler, etc.
I'm currently reading a book released by Russell Simmons on success and meditation.
Movies:
I can watch just about anything from an interesting documentary on the world's best sushi chef, to a shortumentary about finding love in arranged marriages to a new anime to a movie based on a book or comic to a Bollywood film to Korean drama.
TV shows: Netflix is definitely awesome but I love anything that will make me laugh, has good music in it, or has subtitles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Walked on The Great Wall in China whilst listening to some 90's hip hop.
- Visiting and getting lost in Monets Gardens in France.
- Getting to see Maya Angelou read her own works and speak.
