ABOUT ME

I grew up on a little commune in the middle of nowhere in New Zealand, and now I'm exploring the world. I went to a tiny rural Steiner school, studied high school at home, trained as a florist, and got a BA in Linguistics, before training as a TEFL teacher so I could live and work in exotic countries such as England, and see the world. I spent two years living Italy and I'm moving to Korea in May 2014.

I love travelling and have managed to see a bit of Europe between jobs, as well as SE Asia, 2 months in India and last year I went back to NZ via the trans-Mongolian - 2 months, 8 countries, Latvia to Hong Kong without flying, well over a week worth of train trips.

I'm easy going and friendly, although sometimes I'm a bit shy (I'm trying to overcome this!)

I'm a vegetarian, I love cooking and I don't smoke.

Interests

Travel, cooking and trying new, unusual foods, making things and learning new crafts and skills, origami, quilting, meeting people, nature and sustainability, vegetarianism, cathedrals and old buildings, travelling by train, card games, dice and scrabble.
