ABOUT ME

We are a family with 3 girls between 22 and 31 years old.
The older, Nelly, recently came back living with us, the second worked and lived in Annecy but now studies to be a nurse in Avignon and has got a flat near her school, and the younger studies in Toulouse and spends some week-ends at home.
We have 2 cat and some hens which give us their eggs.

PHILOSOPHY

We do not like fascism, fundamentalism, racism, hatred, companies that grind people and throw them like used handkerchiefs, those who finance wars to steal raw materials, planes which bring back migrants to their misery. ...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly we host. When we travel in Europe, we travel by motor-home (which does not prevent us from visiting our surfers!). We appreciate receiving Couch-surfers who first received on their couch, and who do not look the couch-surfing as a free hotel. Even if we let ourselves be moved by young penniless people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We always (lets hope that it lasts!) met pleasant people, and we liked the time passed together. We regret that sometimes we were too busy to spend enough time with our guests.

兴趣

Gilbert is now retired; he should like doing nothing but reading in a deck chair, but he spends most of his time to work in the garden or transform our old house. Carmen worked in a nursery; now she has stopped it and she tells tales to the little children in some nurseries around our village.
We like good food and receive friends. we like films, theater (Avignon theater festival), trips by feet or bike in the country (mont Ventoux and Provence hills are nice places for walking, except in summer which is too hot for that); we like to study plants, birds and all the little animals that we can see in our garden or our treks.

We both like the films of Ken Loach, Robert Guediguian, Coline Serreau, and the documentary films about resistances or alternative experiences. We like French songs who have something to say, but also rock, jazz, folk and classic music. We reads differents sorts of books and we are interested by philosophy (beginners!) and sociology.
