About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a traveler inspired by those i meet and the stories i hear to live my dreams and travel these beautiful lands. I love to travel to meet new people, find out about their culture, try different foods, practice different sports. I am a positive, outgoing, open minded guy who thrives on new experiences and is appreciative of the many joys life brings. Couchsurfing is this kind of way who makes me true when I travel. You meet locals, you share more than a couch but a piece of their lives with them, you live your experience from inside and not through the mirrors that thousands of tourists experiment when they travel in basic way. In other words, Couchsurfing is an opportunity for having the best experience as a traveler.
Experience is not what happens to a man; it is what a man does with what happens to him. I remember the first years of Couchsurfing, end of 2007 when I started meeting couchsurfers and travelling the world with this great community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met up with csurfers while traveling, I have surfed with others and hosted. It is a great community and i have met so many awesome people through it. Heading back 15 years ago, I was young and I wanted to see the world, learn different languages and see places out of my confort zone. I made the decision to pack by bags and to travel the world. I started with a working holiday visa in Australia, and then I decided to travel my country Canada. I realised a dream working for the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver. Most of my best friends we met with this community. I experienced the most amazing adventures that changed my life. I passed through North america (Canada, USA, Mexico).
I traveled, lived and couchsurfed in Iceland, France, China, Japan, Thailand, Laos, India, Nepal, Australia, Indonesia, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, USA, and met some really inspirationnal people along the way. My experiences as a host or a surfer were all positives.. Thanks to Couchsurfing. What a great community!
