Overview
About Me
I’m an 18 years old guy from Montreal studying music and social science in college. I love to travel (surprising considering I’m on Couchsurfing), to meet new people and try new things. I’m open-minded and I love stepping out of my comfort zone. I enjoy drinking a beer (or a few) with friends, and I love to debate and argue (combined those two make the best nights).
**Btw I’ve never Couchsurfed before which is why I don’t have any references but I guess we all have to start somewhere :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and trying new things, of course, but particularly because I think you cannot truly get to know a place if you haven’t seen it through the eyes of those who live there. Tourism can be fun yes, but you don’t get all of what you can from a city without experiencing it with locals.
Interests
I love art in all of its forms and I love to discover and discuss new art and expressions. I especially love cinema, music and architecture. Apart from that I’m interested in almost anything and I definitely have an opinion on everything, for better or for worse (you decide). I also enjoy all sports that you go outside and connect with nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different music genres from classical music to indie, alternative, house, rap, lo-fi, etc. Chances are that if you play good music we’ll get along just fine :)
As for films I really enjoy independent cinema and movie directors like Iñarritu, Cuarón, Vallée, Anderson, the Coens, Lanthimos, etc.
I don’t read as much as I used to but my favorite books of the past few years include Marquez’s « 100 years of solitude », Zafón’s « La sombra del viento » and Tartt’s « The Goldfinch ».
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I went to Perú for a humanitarian trip during high school I lived with locals from a little town in North-western part of the country, and one day we decided we’d go visit members of their family in the country. Asking for a ride from a distant friend both parents, their two children, their cousin, their two dogs, dinner (live turkeys), said friend and I had to share a ridiculously small car for what was one of the hottest transits I’ve been through in my entire life. My day in the country was magical and we hiked through the mountains altogether.
