About Me

Hey there! Thanks for checking me out! (no creepiness intended)

I consider myself pretty laid back, open minded and down to earth. Socially, I'm sorta like a roamer; I chill with many groups of friends but only have a few close friends. I balance alone time and people time. I think I'm a pretty good listener and I can talk about anything - seriously. And I don't believe there is anything awkward with silences.

I like keeping my childhood spirit going but I also very much value the importance of change and personal growth.

I like to loaf on certain days and do activities or sports on other days. I'm a quick learner so teach me your skills! I also enjoy creating things, like lego spaceships or blanket forts.

MY PHILOSOPHY: do whatever the hell you like and don't be dick

Overall I think you'd enjoy hanging out with me! But that's my opinion, which is biased, so don't quote me on that ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently developped the itch. Most of you may know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm fed up of the routine and I want to get the **** out.

But money doesn't grow on trees. So couchsurfing seems to be a very good way to go. Plus I'll have the opportunity to meet awesome people (you), share stories over a pint, get a first hand experience on local cultures, laugh over our stereotypes, and know all the best spots to jam that tourists will never know about!

Interests

Video games, camping, snowboarding, longboarding, surfing (haven't done any yet but I know it should be on this list), dogs, space, common sense, woodcrafting, arts & sciences, canoe tripping, music, archery, food, beer, cyberpunk

On a more serious note, as an aspiring environmentalist, I am especially interested in the earth sciences. I love understanding the interactions between Earth's different components.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trying to be the best person I can be for others.

And uhh... sorta stand up to my fear of spiders? Somewhat. Sorry countries with venomous creatoids, I may not be visiting you just yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you French. Or the bagpipes if you like. Yes, I play the bagpipes. Or at least I used to, but I could probably still pick it up quite easily. Don't ask me if I was wearing anything under that kilt.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Beer! Poor cooking experience! Fun! Memories!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
