Nearly middle aged, very young at heart business owner who has worked as a head hunter in the City of London/ Hong Kong/ Sydney/ Tokyo and NYC for the past 20 years. Currently taking an extreme break and live 1 mile to the nearest neighbor in the middle of the English countryside.

Backpacked all around Asia and the US and am a serial city breaker to Europe (cheap flights permitting). After four years of head down 20 hour working days seven days a week I am currently working my way around Europe having a massive vacation and meeting my clients along the way.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am a 'newbie' to couch surfing but whilst I am travelling throughout Europe thought it would be a wonderful way to meet new people and experience things I would not be able to see otherwise. I also think it will be a fantastic way to elongate the stay in a destination to see if that is where I want to settle permanently.

Although I have not (whilst composing this) used couchsurfing many many of my 'friends' on Facebook say the experience is great so why not - I will give anything a go twice.

Music: Nowadays listen to just about anything and everything although if I was just going to put on the Ipod and press play without thinking Old School House, Northern Soul or Indie.

Books: Read anything and everything from autobiographies to fiction to non-fiction (history mainly).

Movies: Again love everything but in contrast Goodbye Mr Chips and Apocolypse Now stand out.
