Overview
About Me
I just ended my study as an Agricultural/Environmental Scientist and I am now starting to find my way into the professional world. I love travelling and had the occasion to visit many different countries. Beside different locations in Switzerland, I lived for longer period of time in Vancouver and in Laos. Because I always like to interact with locals, I learned different languages (French, German, English and Spanish). I love to speak about how we could make our planet and our society a better place to live for everyone (which is definitely not an easy challenge to solve). I like to discuss how the ideal world should be, but do not forget about more pragmatic question that we have to solve to get there.
I am passionate about nature and mountains and I spend a large share of my free time hiking, camping and ski-touring! At home I like to try new kinds of food, combine ideas and cook great meals to enjoy with everyone!
For me diversity is what make our world a great and fun place to live. I am very open to any culture, political mindset, behavior, food habit, religion, or anything, as long as we can openly exchange about it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people and make new friend when at home or when travelling. When travelling I believe that what you experience is what matter, much more than what you see. And I definitely believe that a shared experience or adventure is by far a lot more fun than living it alone! For this reason I love to spend some time with guests and trying to make then having a memorable experience of their travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a lot of different kind of movie and books, my favorite goes to psychological thrillers and move/books that deal with reflecting our current society or experimenting with alternative forms of society.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My last great adventure was to go to the sea by foot only. And for a Swiss guy living in the mountains it is a long way to get there through the alps :)
Over a month of hiking and camping in the alps. 33 days without having a roof on our heads and with no warm water for shower, but beautiful mountain lakes and rivers.
Carrying everything we need on our back and trying to develop new camping stove recipe.
This adventure was really a great way to reflect about what really matter in life, to identify what's really important and what is superfluous.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I like if my host(s) can feel confortable and secure in place, I also really want to share with them my knowledge of the place I live, highlighting small details that are fun or nice to know but that would otherwise not necessarily be noticed. I my guest are interest in it, I like to help them to get into interaction with other people so that they can get a picture of the place that is not only limited to my vision of the place.
