Overview
About Me
I have been absent from CS for some months now, but I am back!!
I have been living in Sarteneja, Belize for 1.5 years now. I work for an NGO working on marine conservation, social development and health programmes in Belize.
I moved here from Miami, where I was studying for my masters in marine resource management and working with a community arts non-profit that I started with a friend. I am happy to share what I have with others when possible.
I cannot guarantee to host, as I work a lot and travel a lot around Belize. If I am home, and have the energy/time, I will happily share my home and this beautiful village with you! There is not much to do in Sarteneja, it is more a place to come and hang out, enjoy the beautiful scenery & outdoors and regenerate a little.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My roommate from a couple years ago used to host couch surfers and it was always an interesting experience. The community of people eager to share their local town and culture through generosity and hospitality has always appealed to me. I want to be able to share the incredible culture of this small fishing village and belize in general, with travellers passing through.
