I'm a graduate student living in Salt Lake City and studying outdoor education. I study outdoor education and community formation because I enjoy creating fun and memorable experiences for others. I am a lover of rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, and the outdoors. I also really enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants. In life I try my best to enjoy good food, good views, good people, good drink, and to hopefully pass on good perspective and good memories. I really enjoy traveling as it is a chance to meet new people, try new things, and create great memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I think showing hospitality to people and enjoying the hospitality of others is super important. Coming from the United States, I think it is important to show Americans as honest, open, and compassionate people. I hope to share good conversation and if possible a good laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to music and movies of all kinds. Seriously, from Kendrick Lamar to Dean Martin. I especially love Bon Iver, Anderson .Paak, and M83, just to name a few.

A few movies I have recently enjoyed are Arrival, Lord of the Rings, and Apollo 13. I have also recently been watching a lot of Seinfeld.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ummm I worked in a Romanian climbing gym for three months that was created to help impoverished youth. I also was a whitewater rafting guide for a summer while I lived in my Mitsubishi Lancer (4 door, compact, sedan).
