Hi, I'm Marc - nice to meet you!

I'm currently 28 years of age, and live on my own with my 5 year old cat, Rebecca. I work as a live sound engineer working with bands and artists from all walks of life and musical backgrounds. I love the outdoors, hiking, bike rides and rock climbing. I love music, film and theatre. I'm sometimes a little introverted but I come alive around like minded people - at heart I'm very sociable. I can be very chatty but can also be a great listener.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting new people and experiencing couch surfing myself as I have heard so many great things about it. It would be really lovely to make some new friends along the way!

I love fantasy and science fiction in both books and film, although do enjoy horror or comedy film as well as drama.

Music wise I like a bit of everything, but notable artists/bands for me are Fionn Regan, Cat Stevens, The Beatles and Tori Amos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently climbed Ben Nevis during the winter. There was heavy snowfall/blizzards so it was testing but hugely rewarding having conquered it!
