I am a keen traveller from New Zealand currently cycling through Croatia and onto Montenegro with my girlfriend. I enjoy visiting new places and seeing the way different people live. I think coach surfing is a great way to meet people from the areas you travel to as opposed to other tourists. I really enjoy meeting new people and have meet many friends through having them on my couch or being on theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had people stay on my coaches of various flats i have lived and also used a few in my time on a casual basis without the use of the internet. I think this is a good way to meet more like minded people around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a bunch of favourite bands and artists that would have to start with the Beatles, John Lennon, and most stuff from the Britpop era. Impossible to cover in a short blurb...

Books wise i would say Orwell would be one of my favourite classic writers but now i read a lot of Harukai Murakami and Ben Elton. In terms of non-fiction then John Pilger and Naomi Klein have to rate pretty highly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well.. I love to talk so i guess thats definitely one thing. Another is music. I play guitar, a little piano, harmonica and sing so if you have any of these i would be happy to jam :)
